Acceptable Use Policy

The short version

Media you host on Eros is safe for work. You may link out to adult destinations, but you must say so plainly before anyone taps. Everyone depicted is an adult and consented. Nothing on your page may mislead a visitor about what happens when they tap.

1. Media hosted on Eros must be safe for work

This is a hard boundary. Images, video and other media uploaded to Eros must be suitable to display without warning to a general adult audience.

Not allowed on Eros

• Visible genitals, anus, or female nipples.
• Sexual acts, simulated sexual acts, or sexual arousal.
• Content whose evident purpose is sexual gratification, however it is framed.
• Cropping, blurring, censor bars or overlays used to imply explicit content.
• Text or imagery describing sexual services in explicit terms.

Allowed

• Ordinary portraits, fashion, fitness, swimwear and lingerie imagery of the kind a mainstream social platform would carry.
• Suggestive but non-explicit presentation.

Where a judgement is finely balanced we will decide, and our decision is final. If you are unsure, the answer is that it belongs on your destination site, not on Eros.

2. Linking to adult destinations

Linking to a site restricted to adults is permitted. Hiding that fact is not.

• Mark the destination as age-restricted. The label must be visible before the tap, not after.
• A visitor must reach the destination through a deliberate action of their own. No automatic redirects, no pop-unders, no opening a destination as a side effect of something else.
• No cloaking. The destination you show must be the destination that opens — no intermediate pages that disguise it, no showing different destinations to different visitors, no swapping the target after a link has been shared.
• Do not use Eros to work around a restriction another platform has placed on you, or to reach an audience a platform has decided should not see your content.
• You are responsible for any age-verification requirement that applies where your audience is. Our labelling does not satisfy it for you.

3. Never, under any circumstances

These end an account immediately, without warning, and we report them to the authorities where the law requires or permits it:

• Any sexual content involving a minor, or any content that sexualises a minor, real or generated. There is no context in which this is tolerated.
• Presenting anyone under 18 as available for adult content or services.
• Intimate images published without the consent of the person shown, including material shared to humiliate or coerce.
• Sexual content depicting a real person generated or altered without their consent.
• Anything connected to trafficking, coercion, or sexual services procured by force or deception.
• Impersonating another person or using their likeness without permission.
• Publishing someone's private information to expose or endanger them.
• Content promoting violence, terrorism, or hatred against a group of people.
• Malware, phishing, or pages designed to steal credentials or payment details.

4. No deceptive funnels

Eros exists to turn attention into action honestly. Manufacturing a false impression to get a tap is prohibited, even where it would be effective, and even where other platforms tolerate it.

• No invented urgency. No countdowns, spot counts or expiry warnings that are not real.
• No fabricated results. Where an interaction produces a score or outcome, it must be genuinely derived from what the visitor did. Predetermined results presented as personalised are not permitted.
• No fabricated social proof. No invented testimonials, view counts, follower numbers, or messages implying a real person is waiting or watching.
• No misleading labels. A control must do what it says. A button that appears to play a video must play one.
• No pretending to be a person. Automated messages must not be presented as live conversation with the creator.
• No bait. Do not advertise something the destination does not actually provide.

This section is not decorative. It is the reason the platform is built the way it is, and it is enforced.

5. Consent and likeness

Everyone identifiable in content you publish must have been an adult when it was made and must have agreed to appear and to it being published here. Keep your own records of that consent. If someone withdraws consent, take the content down.

If you appear in content published by an agency and want it removed, contact us. We will act on that request even where the agency objects.

6. Email and messaging

• Only collect email addresses with clear, unbundled consent, and say what you will send.
• Do not upload lists gathered elsewhere and present them as page sign-ups.
• Honour unsubscribes promptly.
• Do not use collected addresses for anything you did not tell people about at the point of collection.

7. Platform integrity

• Do not probe, scan or attempt to bypass our access controls, and do not try to reach data that is not yours.
• Do not inflate views or clicks, whether by automation or by paying for traffic that is not real.
• Do not register handles in bulk, create accounts to evade enforcement, or resell access.
• Do not scrape Eros at a scale that degrades the service.
• If you find a security flaw, report it to us before telling anyone else. We will not pursue good-faith research that is reported responsibly and does not access other people's data.

8. Reporting something

Email hello@erostest.online with the page address and what is wrong. Reports involving a minor, non-consensual imagery, or an immediate risk to someone's safety are treated as urgent and go to the front of the queue — say so in the subject line.

We do not reveal who reported something to the account being reported.

9. What happens when this policy is broken

Depending on severity and history we may remove content, unpublish a page, restrict features, withdraw verification, suspend or close accounts, and where necessary refuse service to an agency across its whole roster. We report to the authorities where the law requires it.

Except where content involves a minor, is non-consensual, or must come down urgently, we tell you what happened and you may respond by emailing us. We aim to review appeals within Needs legal input: appeal turnaround.
