Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By using ErosTest ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service. We may update these terms — continued use after changes means you accept them.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or take a quiz on ErosTest.

3. Accounts

• You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure
• One person per account — no shared logins
• You must provide a valid email address
• We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms

4. Creator responsibilities

As a creator, you are responsible for:

• The content of your quizzes (questions, images, descriptions)
• How you use quiz taker data (emails, scores) — you must comply with applicable privacy laws
• Not using the platform to harass, deceive, or scam quiz takers
• Not creating quizzes that promote illegal activity or target minors

5. Acceptable use

You may not:

• Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to access the Service
• Attempt to bypass retake prevention or rate limiting
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code
• Use the Service for phishing, malware distribution, or fraud
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Overload the Service with abusive request volumes

6. Content ownership

You own the quiz content you create. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to host, display, and distribute your quizzes as necessary to operate the platform. We don't claim ownership of your content.

7. Payments and subscriptions

• Free accounts have no time limit
• Paid plans are billed monthly through LemonSqueezy
• You can cancel anytime — your plan remains active until the end of the billing period
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis
• We may change pricing with 30 days notice

8. Service availability

We aim for high uptime but don't guarantee 100% availability. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We're not liable for downtime, data loss, or damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ErosTest's total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

10. Termination

You can delete your account at any time by emailing us. We may terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice. On termination, your quiz data will be deleted within 30 days.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.
